About Dominique Brooks-Daw

Born in Somerset, England. Dominique completed her professional classical dance training first at ‘Elmhurst Ballet School’ and later graduated with a Diploma from Hammond School for Dance and Performing arts.

In 2022 Dominique began her own creative path, choreographing ‘Singin in the Rain’ in the Landestheater Salzburg. Choreographing the Opening ceremony for the IAAPA in the Vienna Exhibition center, and later this year choreographing ‘Die Reise Zum Mond’ Theatre Regensburg.

This year she was also awarded twice ‘Best Choreography’ for her pieces ‘The Journey’ and ‘I see Through You’ at the Austrian Open Championships.

To date Dominique has appeared in Bodyguard the Musical in Vienna, on the European Tour of Dirty Dancing 2018, 2023 & 2024 as the role of Maria Huerta in the open air Saturday Night Fever, Rocky Horror Picture Show Amstetten and Guys and Dolls Graz Oper. She was also part of the original cast in Bodyguard Cologne after joining the German tour of Falco meets Mercury.

Arena tours belong to a big part of her career such as Peter Maffays Tabalouga and working for 4 years as Dance Captain for Andrea Berg on her Atlantis, Seelenleben and Openair concerts.

In 2014 she was seen as the TV role ‘Kate’ on RTL’s ‘Alles was Zählt’ and has also worked on TV productions such as X-Factor, German Pop Idol & The Dome performing alongside artist such as Robbie Williams, Anastacia, Andrea Bocelli, Madcon, Yvonne Catterfeld, Wax & Cascada.

Besides her career as a dancer, Dominique has always been a dedicated teacher. She shares her knowledge and experience by giving classes and workshops in jazz and tap-dance in England, Germany, Austria and Switzerland. In 2021 she toured Germany and Switzerland coaching and preparing successful candidates for the role of Fletcher for the European tour of the musical Bodyguard. She also taught the cast for the European tour of Dirty Dancing in auditions calls and choreography for the stage show. Cologne Dance Centre, New York City Dance school Stuttgart, Tanzhaus Erfurt, International Dance Project Aachen, and Weber Schiule Düsseldorf are just a few of the places Dominique has had the opportunity to work. She currently teaches at the Performing Centre Austria and coaches students for the Austrian Open and World Championships.
